Travelling
Volos is linked to both Athens and Thessaloniki by rail and bus services. If you fly to Athens Venizelos Airport, the most convenient option is rail:
- Line Π1 from the Airport to Peiraeus. Change at Larisis station. More information can be found here and here.
- Line Intercity 40 from Athens Larisis station to Volos: either Athens Larisis station - Larisa - Volos, or Athens Larisis station - Palaiopharsalos - Volos. More information can be found here.
