Octavia is leaving

After 4 years of work for the project and with the conclusion of the manuscript survey, Octavia has decided to move to a new job in Social Research. During her time in Camberwell, Octavia's duties included:

• Initial setting up of project's office in October 2002,
• Co-ordinating and administrating the project,
• Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries about the project,
• Establishing a reliable network between the international team of researchers involved,
• Maintaining project accounts and budget monitoring,
• Assisting preparation of publications and symposia,
• Assisting project leader on fieldwork,
• Liaising between the monastery, Saint Catherine Foundation and Camberwell College of Arts.

Octavia has contributed a lot to the success of the project and she will be greatly missed. Having worked with her in the same office for the past 3 years, it is difficult to imagine how the office will look without her, but I hope that in her new career she will still have time to come and visit us - even if we are the sample to one of her studies!
