We would like to congratulate George Boudalis on obtaining his new post at the museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki. There he will resume his earlier position in the conservation of manuscripts which he had held from 1997. In the meantime he joined the St. Catherine's Conservation Project in 2000.
Last year, which he spent at our university as a post-doctoral fellow researcher, George made a valuable contribution to the St. Catherine's Conservation Project working on the AHRC glossary of Byzantine/Greek bookbinding terms. Although he will now be in Greece, he will still work on the glossary and will remain as a consultant.
We wish him all the best and we are all very happy that he will continue to be associated with our project.
